In partnership with administrators, faculty, and community leaders, students lead initiatives specific to the needs of their campus. Goals
MissionTo mobilize and equip a student-led movement in colleges and universities in partnership with public and private institutions to create a safer environment free of crime, violence, and illicit drugs in order to foster good citizenship throughout the world. HistoryCCW is an outgrowth of the Youth Crime Watch of America, which for more than twenty years has enlisted youth in crime reduction efforts in their schools and communities. Hundreds of thousands of YCW members have conducted patrols, reported crime, mentored, participated in action projects, and contributed to the overall improvement of their communities. YCWA has been funded by the US Departments of Justice and Education, and has been recognized by various federal agencies |
