Safety information flyers

In March 2004, CCW members stood at the South Campus Welcome Center and handed out approximately 1,000 safety tip information flyers to residents so they could prepare for a safe spring break (whether going away or staying on campus). An article appeared in the SU Daily Orange paper highlighting their efforts.

This was a successful project, and easy to implement. The Department of Public Safety created and paid for the flyers, and CCW members volunteered their time to hand them out personally to students. CCW plans to do this again next year, to include the winter break period as well.
